Since 2017. . .

I have been working as a creator and performer of shadow puppets with the touring act “Lupita’s Revenge”. A story written/directed by Abel Klainbaum about one woman’s quest for vengeance, told through a large scroll of paper in a 52” tall crankie box and with live band performing a tango influenced score.

With Atlanta artist Anthony Gaskins- I received a grant in 2018 from IDEA Capital to start a shadow play about the Skunkape (
Southeast United States’ own Bigfoot) In which we have built a custom collapsible large scale “Crankie” (scrolling shadow box) and have started performing previews of our full scale production.

Occasionally, I have also experimented in marionettes and set design which can also be found here.
